Everything up front

Pricing, delivery, security, and ownership

Every project gets a written proposal with one fixed price for a defined scope, prepared after a free consultation. You approve the number before any work begins. There is no hourly billing and no retainer, and if the scope changes, the price changes in writing first.

Because a fixed fee is priced to your scope, not to a menu. A single dashboard and a company-wide intranet are very different projects. What never changes is the structure: one written number, agreed deliverables, a delivery window, and 30 days of hypercare included on every engagement.

Most engagements are delivered in two to four weeks from kickoff. Larger builds are split into milestones with dates stated in the proposal, so you always know the delivery window before approving. The 30-day hypercare period starts after handover, not during the build.

A senior engineer asks about your goals, your current Microsoft 365 setup, and what success looks like. It is a working conversation, not a sales pitch. Afterward you either receive a fixed-fee proposal or an honest recommendation that we are not the right fit.

Six service areas: Power BI dashboards, Microsoft 365 Copilot rollouts, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint intranets and document management, and Azure migration and cost optimization. Many projects combine several — an app writing to SharePoint with a Power BI report on top is a common pattern.

Yes. Our Microsoft Copilot consulting covers readiness assessment, data-security review, a pilot group, and an adoption plan, following Microsoft’s own deployment guidance (opens in new tab). Because Copilot surfaces whatever users can already access, tightening permissions before rollout is a core part of the engagement.

The minimum the scope requires, granted by you in your own tenant. We work under accounts you create and can revoke at any time, and we state the required roles in the proposal. We never ask you to hand over global admin credentials to accounts we control.

Work stays inside your Microsoft tenant, protected by your own security controls, and we sign a confidentiality agreement when you require one. Access is scoped, logged, and removable by you. Azure and SharePoint engagements include a review of permissions touched by the project before handover.

You do — entirely. Reports, apps, flows, sites, infrastructure, and documentation are all created in your tenant under your accounts. There is no proprietary layer, no ongoing license owed to us, and nothing breaks if you never hire us again. Ownership transfers at handover, not later.

For 30 days after handover we fix defects in what we delivered, answer your team’s questions, and make small adjustments that keep the solution working as scoped — at no extra cost. New features beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately as their own fixed-fee project.

You are free to run everything yourself — documentation and a walkthrough are part of every handover. When new needs come up, such as extending Power Automate workflows or adding Power Apps screens, you request a new fixed-fee scope. There is no forced maintenance contract.

No. Microsoft Made Easy is an independent consultancy — a Lightray Solutions brand based in Orange County, California — and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation. We build on Microsoft platforms like Power BI and Azure, and you buy any licenses directly from Microsoft.
