Engagements & pricing
How our fixed-fee Microsoft consulting pricing works
Fixed fee Microsoft consulting pricing means one written price for a clearly scoped project — no hourly meter, no retainer. A free consultation first, a senior US-based engineer delivering in 2–4 weeks, and 30 days of hypercare after handover.

The engagement
From first call to hypercare, in four steps
Every project follows the same simple path, whether it’s a Power BI dashboard, a Copilot rollout, or an Azure migration.
- 01
Free consultation
A senior engineer talks through your goals, your current Microsoft 365 setup, and what success looks like. No cost, no obligation, and no sales script.
- 02
Fixed-fee scope
You receive a written proposal: deliverables, timeline, and one fixed price. You approve it before any work begins, and scope changes are agreed in writing.
- 03
Senior engineer delivers
The engineer who scoped the project builds it, with check-ins along the way. Most projects are delivered in 2–4 weeks; larger builds get milestone dates in the proposal.
- 04
30-day hypercare
After handover you get 30 days of included hypercare: we fix issues, answer questions, and make sure your team is confident running what we built.
Fixed fee vs hourly billing vs retainers
Consulting is usually sold by the hour or by the month. Both models put the risk of overruns on you. A fixed fee flips that: because the price is attached to the outcome, the incentive to work efficiently sits with us.
| Aspect | Fixed-fee project (ours) | Hourly billing | Monthly retainer |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you pay | One agreed price for a defined scope | Whatever the hours add up to | A recurring fee whether or not work happens |
| Budget certainty | Known before work starts | Estimated at best; overruns are common | Predictable fee, unpredictable output |
| Who carries overrun risk | The consultant | You | You |
| Finish line | Defined deliverables and a handover | Open-ended; ends when you stop paying | Open-ended by design |
| After delivery | 30 days of included hypercare | More billable hours | Continues into the next month’s fee |
| Best for | Scoped outcomes with a clear goal | Tiny ad-hoc fixes | Ongoing staff augmentation |
The proposal you approve names your price. We deliberately don’t publish a rate card, because a fixed fee is priced to your scope — a single Power BI dashboard and a full SharePoint intranet are very different projects. If you are budgeting for the latter, the cost drivers behind a SharePoint intranet show which scoping decisions actually move the number. Device work is scoped on a different axis again: an Intune deployment for a small business device fleet is priced by how many endpoints and platforms are in play, not by how many reports or pages get built. What every proposal shares is the structure above: one number, agreed deliverables, a delivery window, and hypercare. For background on the platform itself, see Microsoft’s overview of Microsoft 365 (opens in new tab).
