What we build

Automation that covers the whole process, not just one form

Every project is scoped as a fixed-fee deliverable, so you know the price before work begins.

Approval workflows

Purchase orders, invoices, expenses, PTO, and contract sign-off routed by amount, department, or role — with reminders, escalation, and a complete audit trail.

RPA desktop flows

Robotic process automation for legacy applications with no API — a bot performs the clicks and keystrokes a person would, without the errors or the overtime.

Business process automation

Multi-step processes — onboarding, order handling, document generation — rebuilt as reliable flows with clear ownership and error handling.

System integrations

Connect Microsoft 365 to your CRM, ERP, or accounting platform with standard connectors, custom connectors, or Azure Logic Apps where the job needs more muscle.

Governance & ALM

Dev, test, and production environments, solution-based deployment, and connection ownership rules — so flows survive staff changes and audits alike.

Handover & training

Documented flows, trained admins, and 30 days of post-delivery hypercare — your team can adjust routing rules without calling us back.

How it works

From paper trail to audit trail in three steps

  1. 1

    Map the process

We walk the current approval path with the people who live it — who requests, who signs, what gets lost — and hand you a fixed-fee scope covering exactly what will be automated.

  2. 2

    Build and test

Flows are built in a development environment and tested with your real approvers on real scenarios: delegations, rejections, escalations, and the edge cases email always mishandled.

  3. 3

    Go live with hypercare

We deploy to production, train your admins, and stay on call for 30 days of included hypercare while the new workflows bed in across the team.

What Power Automate consulting actually delivers

Power Automate is Microsoft's workflow engine inside Microsoft 365 — it watches for a trigger (a form submitted, a file added, an invoice received) and then carries out the steps a person would otherwise do by hand. Our consulting turns that engine into finished, supported automations for your specific processes. A typical engagement produces working production flows, a development and test environment, written documentation for each flow, and admin training — all for a fixed fee agreed before we start, delivered in a typical 2–4 weeks by senior US-based engineers, with 30 days of hypercare after go-live. Licensing sits alongside that fee rather than inside it, and most standard-connector flows need nothing beyond the rights already in your Microsoft 365 seats — our guide to Power Automate licensing for small business explains exactly where the paid tiers start. Microsoft's own Power Automate documentation (opens in new tab) covers the platform's capabilities in depth; our job is applying them to your processes without your team having to learn any of it.

Where automation pays off first

The best first candidates are approvals: they are frequent, rule-based, and painful when they stall. An automated approval flow routes each request by amount or category, reminds the approver, escalates when a deadline passes, and records who approved what and when. The difference against a manual email-and-spreadsheet process is stark:

Aspect Manual process (email & spreadsheets) Automated with Power Automate
Turnaround time Days to weeks — requests sit in inboxes and stall when an approver is out Hours — automatic routing, reminders, and delegation when someone is away
Error rate Re-keyed data, skipped steps, and approvals granted by the wrong person Validated inputs, enforced routing rules, no re-keying between systems
Audit trail Reconstructed from email threads — if the thread can be found at all Every request, decision, and timestamp logged automatically
Visibility “Where is my request?” means asking around Live status visible to requesters and managers at any time
Staff changes Process knowledge leaves with the person who ran it Rules live in the flow; reassigning an approver is one setting

Beyond approvals: RPA, integrations, and ALM

Once approvals run themselves, the same platform reaches further. RPA desktop flows automate legacy applications that have no API by driving their screens directly — useful for that twenty-year-old ERP nobody wants to touch. If you already run robots on another platform and the renewal has stopped making sense, that is a rebuild rather than a fresh build, and it is scoped as UiPath to Power Automate migration services — which also covers Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere estates. For heavier system-to-system work, we build integrations with premium connectors or Azure Logic Apps, so orders, invoices, and customer records move between platforms without a human copying fields. When an integration has to be owned by IT rather than a user, expose an API, exchange EDI with trading partners, or run at volumes that would hit Power Platform request limits, we scope it separately as Azure Logic Apps consulting services in your own Azure subscription. And because automations become critical infrastructure fast, we set up proper application lifecycle management: solutions move from development to test to production deliberately, connections are owned by service accounts rather than someone's personal login, and nothing breaks when an employee leaves.

Who this is for, and what it pairs with

This service fits organizations on Microsoft 365 that still run approvals and handoffs through email, spreadsheets, or paper — commonly 20 to 500 staff, though the pattern scales in both directions. Flows often need a front end people actually enjoy using, which is where custom Power Apps built for your business workflows come in: an app captures the request, and Power Automate moves it. When the request starts outside your organization — a customer, a subcontractor, an applicant — that front end belongs on an external site instead, and our Power Pages development services build the customer and partner portals that feed these flows. Many automations also read and file documents, so pairing this work with a well-structured SharePoint intranet and document management setup keeps the output organized and governed. And when leadership wants to see cycle times and bottlenecks, a fixed-fee Power BI dashboard can report on the very flows we build. Flows also make good replacements for scheduled report delivery: our SSRS to Power BI migration service rebuilds data-driven report subscriptions as Power Automate flows so an ageing report server can be switched off. The alerts, reminders and update requests that currently live inside a Smartsheet subscription are the same kind of replacement, and our Smartsheet to Power Apps migration services rebuild them as flows once the underlying sheets have moved into SharePoint lists or Dataverse. The routing and approval rules that Laserfiche Workflow runs around a records repository are rebuilt the same way once the documents land in SharePoint, as one workstream of our Laserfiche to SharePoint migration services. A different starting point is a workflow product that has already been retired under you: the SharePoint 2013 workflow engine left existing Microsoft 365 tenants in April 2026 and took Nintex for Office 365 workflows with it, so our Nintex to Power Automate migration services inventory and rebuild those workflows and forms as flows and Power Apps rather than designing automation from scratch. Some industries have a chain that does not look like a purchase approval at all: a law firm opens work through conflict clearance, a partner sign-off, an engagement letter and a matter number, which is why we scope those builds separately as Power Automate consulting for law firms. A different kind of pairing applies once the flow count climbs into the dozens and nobody can say what is running or who owns it: our Power Platform governance consulting services cover the environment plan, the connector data policies and the inventory of orphaned apps and flows that an estate this size needs. We are based in Orange County, CA and serve all US states remotely.

FAQ

Questions about workflow automation

Start with high-volume, rule-based approvals where the routing logic is already written down somewhere — purchase orders, invoice sign-off, expense reports, PTO requests, contract reviews. These deliver visible time savings within weeks, build trust in automation, and give us a proven pattern to extend to messier processes later.

Most Microsoft 365 business plans already include Power Automate rights that cover standard-connector approval flows, so many projects need nothing extra. Premium connectors, RPA desktop flows, or high-volume runs can require paid plans. We confirm exactly what your scenario needs during scoping, so licensing never surprises you mid-project.

Yes. Power Automate ships with over a thousand connectors covering CRMs, ERPs, accounting platforms, and databases, and we build custom connectors or Azure Logic Apps integrations where none exists. Legacy applications with no API can still be automated through RPA desktop flows that operate the interface the way a person would.

A typical engagement runs 2-4 weeks from kickoff to go-live. Week one maps the current process and confirms the fixed-fee scope; the middle weeks build and test the flows with your approvers; the final stretch handles rollout and handover documentation. Larger multi-process programs are split into phases, each scoped separately.

You own everything we build, and every engagement includes 30 days of post-delivery hypercare while your team settles in. We document each flow, its connections, and its error handling, then train your admins to adjust routing rules themselves. If you would rather we keep maintaining them, ongoing support can be scoped as its own fixed-fee arrangement.
